Rain or Shine!

We offer this exploratory time for children to interact with their caregivers under the supervision of a qualified staff member. Please keep in mind that this period is free play and not coach guided. Our staff, however, will be there to keep all play safe and can provide great ideas for caregivers to spend quality time with their little ones if they ask. Families do not have to be a member to participate but must sign a waiver before entering the gym floor. We hope this will allow families to have a fun and safe place to encourage play, movement exploration, and physical activity.

This class requires parental participation. Children will learn individual movement, social interaction, perceptual motor skills, sharing, and the very first basic gymnastics skills like rolling, jumping, and balancing.

Class time: 30 minutes

Ages: 2.5 - 3.5

Children learn to take their first independent steps without parental guidance. The class focuses on social interactive skills in a safe gymnastics environment. Rolling, balancing, jumping and climbing are just some of the basic skills students will experience in this fun class.

Ages: 3 - 4 yrs

Students will learn how to follow instructions in a structured environment. They will be introduced to fundamental gymnastics skills on all apparatuses in a creative learning atmosphere. Gross motor skills will be improved along with muscle strength and coordination.

Ages: 4 - 5 yrs

Students will be able to improve their fine motor skills in this skill building gymnastics class. Basic cartwheels and handstands along with other exciting fundamental gymnastics skills on all events will be introduced.

Ages: 6 yrs and up

CLASS 1: Girls will be introduced to the fundamental skills of gymnastics. Strength, flexibility, and coordination training will help these students to progress smoothly to the next level.

CLASS: 2 Students will continue to build on their basic gymnastics skills and fine tune their body alignments. Students prepare for more advanced tumbling skills ahead.

CLASS 3: Students will continue to build on their basic gymnastics skills and fine tune their body alignments. Students prepare for more advanced tumbling skills ahead.

CLASS 4: Students will continue to work on strength training to prepare for more advanced skills on all events like basic tumbling skills on a 4 inch wide balance beam.

CLASS 1: This class is an entry level class for boys gymnastics. The boys will be introduced to all six men's apparatuses along with strength and flexibility training.

Boys will continue to improve strength, flexibility and coordination. They will be prepared for flips when they move on to the next level.

CLASS 3: Students will experience their first flips on the trampoline while they continue to improve overall strength for more advanced gymnastics skills.

CLASS 4: This is an advanced gymnastics class for boys who would like to get ready for complex gymnastics skills to eventually compete some day in the sport.

This class offers children ages 4 and up a gymnastics curriculum from beginning to advanced gymnastics in a progressive method. Children ages 4-5 will follow a preschool curriculum incorporating hand-eye coordination skills, along with simple basic gymnastics skills like balancing, rolling, climbing, jumping, skipping, running, etc. Children will learn skills on all gymnastics apparatuses - vault, bars, balance beam, floor, and trampoline. Children ages 6 and up will learn in a coed environment. They will follow an age appropriate curriculum that focuses on the fundamental skills in gymnastics. Students will receive a skill board to follow their individual progress on all events. Classes will open with a minimum of 3 students in each age group. The maximum size for preschool participants is 8, the maximum size for 6 & up is 12 students.

 
 

For cheerleaders who would like to learn and improve their tumbling skills, Liberty's got the program for you! We welcome all levels of experience. We can help you with everything from handstands, cartwheels, back handsprings, and walkovers. Improve your strength and flexibility, too!

Private & Semi-private lessons

We offer private lessons for children and teens to work on their tumbling skills one-on-one with a trained coach. They can set their own goals and work on specific skills to become amazing tumblers! Bring a friend and together they can improve their tumbling skills with our semi-private lessons. Please call the front desk at 925-687-8009 to schedule an appointment with our tumbling specialist.

Cheer 101

This introductory course teaches cheerleading basics in all four areas: dance, cheer, kicks, and stunts. This class is great way to see if your child is interested in the sport before commiting to a junior squad program.

 
 

Liberty's mission is to affirm each child's unique special nature and developing self-worth. This class offers children with special needs the opportunity to experience the sport of gymnastics which often helps to improve balance, coordination, cognitive development, and multi-step task completion. For your child's safety, a doctor's note is required to ensure that he or she is not put at risk.

 
 

Get fit with our certified personal trainer who will tailor a program for your individual fitness needs. A conditioning program will be designed to improve your body posture and overall health. Classes are held most Saturdays from 1:30-2:30pm. Don't worry about a busy schedule—join us when you can. Consistency is key, but you only pay our $10 drop-in fee when you attend class.
